Productive Engagement with the Senate
Governor Bii appeared before the Senate committee chaired by Hon. Godfrey Osotsi to discuss audit queries related to Eldoret Water and Sanitation Company (EldoWas). Strengthening Urban Management for a Growing City
As Eldoret continues to expand, Governor Bii reaffirmed his administration’s proactive approach to urban development. He highlighted the swift constitution of the new Eldoret City Board as a crucial step in enhancing service delivery and infrastructure planning. The board will be instrumental in implementing strategic policies to manage the city’s growth while ensuring residents receive the highest quality of services.
“Our focus is on efficient urban management, better infrastructure, and ensuring every resident benefits from the rapid growth of Eldoret. The new City Board will be pivotal in achieving these goals,” Governor Bii noted.
Commitment to Reliable Water and Sanitation Services
Water and sanitation remain top priorities for the Uasin Gishu County government. Governor Bii assured residents that measures are being put in place to improve EldoWas operations and address existing challenges. He pledged to work closely with stakeholders to enhance water accessibility, efficiency, and sustainability across the county.
“Water is a fundamental resource, and we are committed to ensuring that every household in Uasin Gishu has access to clean and reliable water services. Through stakeholder engagement and strategic planning, EldoWas will continue to improve and expand its services,” he added.
A Future of Growth and Collaboration
