Nyaru Farm Hosts Key Event

A major milestone took place at Nyaru Farm. Farmers from Soy and Kuinet/Kapsuswa wards received hundreds of seedlings.The event brought together key leaders. In attendance were Laikipia Governor H.E. Joshua Irungu, Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor Hon. Evans Kapkea, Hon. Daniel Chemno, and several MCAs: Hon. Isaac Chirchir (Soy), Hon. Rebecca Chepchirchir (Kuinet/Kapsuswa), and Hon. Naomi Serem (Nominated). Senior county officials also joined the event.

Governor Bii Calls for Farmer Participation

Governor Jonathan Bii shared a statement on his social media. He said coffee farming can help transform rural communities.

‘We are committed to restoring coffee as a key income earner,” he said. He added that farming should be both sustainable and profitable.The program will not stop at planting. It also includes farmer training and support services.

New Hope for Agriculture

County officials say the program is gaining momentum. Many farmers have already shown interest.The global market for coffee remains strong.
