June 1st, 2025. A day that will be remembered not just for its national importance, but for the celebration it sparked in Eldoret.
A Garden Full of Vibes
Beats, Hearts & Brunch brought the city together for a colorful, music-filled experience at the scenic Eldobelle Gardens, Marura. Themed “A Nostalgic 2000s Music Experience in the Garden,” it delivered just that — and more. From 12 PM, the garden came alive. Guests streamed in dressed in bold, vibrant colors. The fashion was a feast for the eyes — from Y2K throwbacks to Afro-chic styles.
Soundtrack of a Generation
The music was the heartbeat. DJ Pinto and One Vortex lit up the decks with iconic Kenyan hits, Afro-pop, R&B classics, and old-school Genge. Every track sparked memories. You could see it in the way people danced, sang along, and smiled.
A Community in Celebration
This wasn’t just a party. It was a moment. A trip back in time for some, a discovery of timeless sounds for others.
People came solo, in pairs, or as groups. No matter how you arrived, you felt like part of something. Strangers became dance partners. Conversations flowed as easily as the brunch drinks.
There was food. There were drinks. But most importantly, there was energy — pure, positive, and electric.

The event embraced the essence of Madaraka Day — a celebration of freedom, culture, and pride. Through music, fashion, and unity, guests honored Kenya’s past while embracing its vibrant present.
As the sun set, the crowd didn’t want to leave. That’s the mark of a meaningful event — when the vibe lingers after the music ends and hearts remain full.
More Than a Party
If you missed it, you missed something special. This wasn’t just a social gathering; it was a cultural moment. It reminded everyone of the power of music and shared heritage. Events like these keep our stories alive and create space for joy and expression.
Beats, Hearts & Brunch is more than an event. It’s a celebration of identity, community, and creativity — a movement rooted in nostalgia and driven by youthful energy. And if this was just the beginning, the future looks rhythmically bright.
