
Kapseret Constituency MP Oscar Kipchumba Sudi joined Elgeyo Marakwet Governor H.E. Wisley Rotich, Members of the County Assembly, and other regional leaders in Kapcherop, Elgeyo Marakwet County, to pay their final respects to the late Gogo Kimoi Cheboi, a highly respected matriarch whose life touched many across the region.
In a message shared after the ceremony, MP Sudi described the late Gogo Cheboi as a pillar of the community whose life was marked by unwavering service, deep compassion, and a strong commitment to faith. Her influence, particularly in the lives of young girls and women, was profound.
“Her selflessness and compassion inspired many, particularly the girl child. She built churches and helped nurture spiritual values that have guided generations. Her work laid a foundation that will continue to uplift our people,” he stated.
