For the fourth time running, Eldoret’s biggest pet lovers’ event, the Dog Expo, returned with even more energy, barks, and wagging tails. Hosted at the picturesque Monarch Gardens, the 2025 edition brought together dog owners, breeders, pet vendors, and families from across the region for a day of learning, connection, and celebration of man’s best friend.
This year’s Dog Expo saw a diverse lineup of participants—from pedigree pups to mixed-breed marvels, everyone came out to shine. Whether it was for obedience showcases, breed parades, or social walks, the furry participants gave attendees something to smile about all day long.
GSDs Steal the Show
Among the stars of the day were the always-impressive German Shepherd Dogs (GSDs). Known for their intelligence, agility, and loyalty, these dogs wowed the crowd and judges alike. Their performances in obedience and agility contests were unmatched—earning them the well-deserved title of Best Performing Dogs of the event.
From precise commands to incredible tricks, the GSDs showcased why they’re one of the most respected breeds worldwide.
A Fun-Filled Day for the Whole Family
The Dog Expo wasn’t just for pets—it was a full family experience. With food stalls, kid-friendly zones, and photo opportunities all around Monarch Gardens, everyone had something to enjoy. Pet lovers were treated to grooming demos, pet care tips, and even on-site veterinary consultations.
