On April 7, 2025, the Eldoret National Polytechnic became the focal point of a significant national event as it welcomed a high-level delegation from the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary, the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration, and focal officers representing various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

This strategic engagement formed part of a government-wide monitoring and evaluation initiative aimed at reviewing the progress of priority development programmes and flagship projects under implementation across the country. The projects under evaluation have been selected based on their alignment with key national frameworks, including the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), the Fourth Medium-Term Plan, National Development Implementation Committee (NDIC) priorities, and the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF).

During the visit, the delegation engaged with institutional leadership, inspected ongoing projects, and gathered feedback on challenges affecting the implementation process.
